The design incorporated original prison features. I found this very interesting.
i found the bar and restaurant closure for private events unacceptable. guests were not informed, and nearby alternatives were fully booked. the hotel's claim of having a bar and restaurant felt misleading as it operates independently (it reminded me of a bait and switch).

charming sanctuary!
really good designkitchen treatsbreakfast charge
i loved the really good design incorporating old prison architecture with modern style. the help yourself kitchen with treats in the afternoon was a plus. the lounge and games room were great too! it was wonderfully quiet being set back from the road.
I was not told that breakfast was not included and was charged extra for it. the room was a bit like a prison cell. space was minimal. It had literally no space for much.

The hotel bar features creative cocktail options. the cafe attached offers lovely food and coffee. It is a great spot for a quick bite. i enjoyed the fresh fruit available daily.

The gym is equipped well. It has modern machines. the rooftop pool is great. the sauna is open daily, offering a relaxing experience.

The staff was attentive. They promptly addressed requests. i was helped with inquiries i had! they provided helpful tips on transportation and local restaurants. i really appreciated their assistance.

The hotel design did incorporate many original features. The communal areas included a free kitchen area. It had sitting rooms I liked. The hotel is stylish.
The hotel bar do close for private parties. Guests get no notification about this closure. I was told to try nearby places. They was all full.
